Get in TouchI am Olena Brodovska, the principal and owner of Resolve Notary. I am an Australian lawyer with Ukrainian background and legal experience. I founded Resolve Notary with a simple belief that navigating cross-border legal documents should not feel overwhelming. As a Notary Public based in Gordon, NSW, I bring a unique combination of Australian notarial practice and first-hand knowledge of Ukrainian legal requirements.
Originally from Ukraine, where I practised as a lawyer before moving to Australia, I understand the specific challenges that Ukrainian families, businesses, and individuals face when dealing with documents for use overseas. I speak your language, understand your documents, and know the processes inside and out.
Whether you are arranging a Power of Attorney for family matters back home, certifying documents for international use, or need guidance with apostille, I am here to make the process clear, efficient, and stress-free.
Fluent in Ukrainian and English — no need for interpreters

Proudly serving the Ukrainian community across Sydney
Every document tells a story — a family reconnecting, a property being managed, a new chapter unfolding. I ensure that story is told correctly and recognised wherever it needs to go.
Noratisation of Powers of Attorney for use in Ukraine and other countries, including preparation of related notarial certificates. Whether you need to authorise a family member to manage property, handle legal proceedings, or conduct business on your behalf, I will administer powers of attorney to meet requirements for overseas acceptance.
An affidavit is a sworn or affirmed written statement used as evidence in legal proceedings or to satisfy the requirements of an overseas authority. I administer the oath or affirmation, witness your signature, and attach the appropriate notarial certificate — ensuring your affidavit is properly executed and recognised internationally.
Businesses operating across borders often need their corporate documents notarised for overseas partners, regulators, or foreign government authorities. I assist with the notarisation and certification of ASIC company extracts, certificates of registration, board resolutions, company constitutions, shareholder agreements, and other corporate records. Where required, I will verify the signatory's authority and the company's status before certifying documents for international use.
A Certificate of Good Standing confirms that an Australian company is currently registered with ASIC, has met its regulatory obligations, and remains active and compliant. Foreign authorities, banks, business partners, and regulators frequently require this certificate before entering into commercial arrangements with an Australian entity. I prepare and issue notarial certificates of good standing based on verified ASIC records, and can arrange apostille or authentication through DFAT where needed for use overseas.
Authentication and certification of documents intended for use outside Australia — including educational qualifications, identity papers, personal certificates such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, immigration records, financial statements, and medical reports. I ensure your documents carry the proper notarial certification for recognition abroad.
Guidance and assistance with the apostille process through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and consular legalisation where required. I will help you understand which pathway your documents need and support you through each step — from notarisation to final legalisation for use in countries that are party to the Hague Apostille Convention and those that are not.
Beyond the services listed above, I am able to assist with a wide range of notarial matters including verification of identity, certifying copies of passports and other identification documents. If you are unsure whether your document requires a Notary Public, please get in touch and I will be happy to advise.
Resolve Notary was born from a genuine connection to the Ukrainian community in Australia. Having walked the same path — leaving Ukraine, building a new life here, and maintaining ties to family and affairs back home — I understand not just the documents, but the reasons behind them.
While my practice is rooted in serving the Ukrainian community, I welcome clients from all backgrounds who need professional notarial services, particularly for documents intended for use overseas.
